Michael joins Village Ventures from Bessemer Venture Partners, where he was a partner from 1990-1998. Michael also served as president and chief executive officer of MotherNature.com from 1998 through 2000, and was instrumental in raising $113 million in funding for the company in three rounds of financing and an initial public offering.
Michael is based in Massachusetts and is responsible for the firm’s investments in New England and Florida. Michael focuses on consumer-facing Internet and e-commerce companies, with emphasis in analytically-driven online marketing plays.
