Dr. Sipe has more than 20 years of experience specifying, developing, deploying, and marketing practical image analysis systems. While with International Business Machines, he developed document imaging systems as well as computer vision systems for automated VLSI manufacture and inspection. At Cellomics, he led development of instrumentation and software for automated cell analysis via fluorescence microscopy. Most recently, he was a product manager with Thermo Fisher Scientific. In addition to his commercial development experience, Dr. Sipe has also led research efforts sponsored by the FAA, DARPA, and the National Institutes of Health.
