Melissa has worked as a supervising editor in both traditional media (newspapers) and online media. Before joining Noofangle Media, Melissa was the Deputy Managing Editor of USAToday.com, one of the nation’s largest newspaper websites. In her role, she oversaw content for portions of the home page of the website, as well as the site’s Travel, Life and Tech content. Melissa previously was the assistant managing editor for The Austin American-Statesman, and The Palm Beach Post. In both roles, she supervised all features and entertainment writers and editors for the newspapers, as well as developing special news projects. During that time, she and the writers she supervised won numerous national and regional awards for journalistic excellence. Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
