Melinda Morbeck Lewison

Melinda Morbeck Lewison brings over eight years experience in growing and operating wireless telecommunications, data networking and software companies. Most recently, she served as Director of Products and Services at Nextel Partners where she was responsible for building Nextel Partners’ wireless data services business. Prior to joining Nextel Partners, Melinda was part of a small team at Microsoft that managed the launch of InfoPath, an XML-based electronic forms application included in Microsoft Office Professional 2003. Before Microsoft, Melinda was Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Internap Network Services, where she led the company’s successful entry into the Content Delivery Services business and played a key role in developing Internap’s joint venture and partner relationships with companies such as NTT in Japan. Earlier in her career, Melinda was a member of the original team at Nextel International (formerly McCaw International) where she helped to raise over $1 billion in debt and equity capital. Melinda began her career as an investment banker with Lehman Brothers in the Telecommunications and Media Group.

Melinda earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and she received her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in history from Princeton University.
