Melanie joined NESTA’s investment team in 2003. She has co-led investment and management of the healthcare portfolio, building a strong network of co-investors, industry contacts and business proposals. She has also supported investment activity in the Environmental Technology portfolio, raising NESTA’s profile as a seed investor.
She started her career in the early-stage technology sector, where she provided debt finance to high-growth companies through Lloyds TSB Corporate and the I10 Biotechnology business support initiative.
