Megumi Ikeda is Senior Vice President of the Peacock Equity Fund. The fund invests in high growth, new media companies that have a strategic fit with NBC Universal. The fund’s portfolio companies include Greystripe, the Rubicon Project, Ramp, Trion, Healthline, Bigpoint, Blogher, and 4Info. Megumi is based in London and focuses on investments in the EMEA territories. Megumi previously worked at NBC Universal as the VP of Strategic Initiatives and New Media and in NBCU’s corporate development group. Prior to her work at NBCU, Megumi held positions at Conde Nast Publications, where she was the International Business Manager for Wired, and at Dow Jones & Co., where she was a financial correspondent in Tokyo, Japan. She holds an MBA from UCLA and a BA from Columbia College, Columbia University.
