For Mazdak, software has always been a passion. At the age of 15, he started selling sold his first shareware and received Windows Sources Magazine “Shareware of the Month” mention.

He has since turned his passion in to a successful career. In 2005 he joined BubbleShare and started a service that has been called the “star” of Toronto’s Web 2.0 companies. He spearheaded the conversion to Rails and was instrumental in the company being sold to Kaboose in 2007. He was a lead developer at Kaboose until January of 2009.

He now works at Hot or Not as a “hot engineer”, plotting to take over the dating world.
