Matthias studied electrical engineering in Hamburg and has been active in the field of information and communication technology since the early 80’s.
He started working at the Dr. Neuhaus Group in 1984 - for which he also worked a year in the Far East - and was finally the managing director of the Group’s software and system company. From 1996 to 1998 Matthias led the telecommunications division in a major German consulting company. He has been with Neuhaus Partners since the beginning of 1999. As a managing partner, Matthias is responsible for the selection and support of portfolio companies in the eCommerce, internet, data communications and software sectors. Matthias is a member of supervisory boards of several portfolio companies and has already been part of several successful exits.
