Matthew Gauer is the Chief Financial Officer at Element Payment Services.
Matthew Gauer began his career in financial services at one of the top ten payment processors in the country, First National Merchant Solutions (FNMS). During his tenure, Mr. Gauer was an accomplished leader in finance, vendor management, operations & technology, and held various titles including Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Gauer joined Element in 2009 after years of experiencing working with Element’s Executive Management Team during his tenure at FNMS. Mr. Gauer says he was drawn to Element by “the team’s ability to make strategic business decisions quickly, deliver on promises, and provide customers with simple and secure processing solutions. Additionally, the comprehensive suite of products that Element has developed is truly industry-leading.”
Mr. Gauer sees his role as CFO as an opportunity to create greater value for partners and customers. His expertise using financial analysis to link strategy to execution and drive profitibable results allows him to do just that. “When we bring a solution to market, we are able to advise partners on the importance of the offering and how it will positively affect their bottom line”, he says.
