As the Vice President of Consumer Experience at AOL, Matte Scheinker works with teams across AOL to ensure that the company delivers on its promise to build and release only the highest quality products. Prior to joining AOL, Matte spent eight years at Yahoo where he had a variety of roles including the oversight of the user experience teams responsible for Yahooâ€™s communication and community products which included Mail, Messenger, Voice, Profiles, Groups, Bix, and Flickr. During the turn of the century tech boom-and-bust, Matte worked for a startup that became kinkos.com and then became no more.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Matte currently lives in San Francisco with his baking-obsessed wife, who will make you cookies anytime. Matte also runs the wildly successful site matte.org as a public service to anyone confused about how to pronounce his name.
