Matt Filios has 20 years of experience as a catalyst and leader of emerging technology companies. Previously, Filios was Community Operations Practice Director for Olliance Group, a worldwide management consultancy focused on helping growth organizations leverage open source software. At Olliance Group, Matt worked with and aided in the rapid growth of organizations such as Infobright and XAware, which was recently acquired by Sparxent.
Prior to Olliance Group, Filios was founder and CEO of Virtuas Solutions, a Denver-based software consultancy that helped Global 2000 organizations such as General Electric, C/NET, Northrop Grumman and Bank of America understand and leverage emerging open source technologies in the enterprise. Virtuas was acquired by Qivliq.
Prior to Virtuas, Filios was COO of Tsunami Consulting Group, a national e-business consulting firm that grew significantly under his leadership. During his tenure the organization won major accounts with the likes of Sony, BMW Financial Services and Coolsavings.com, and was acquired by Snyder Communications of Bethesda, MD. Filios has also had leadership roles with GE Access Graphics and JCIT Institute of Technology. Filios holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.
