Mat Balez is VP of Product at Flatiron School.
Prior to that he was a Senior Product Manager on the Glass team at Google, where he helped take the Glass project from early prototype to shipping product. He was responsible for much of the software experience, interaction model, system UI and developer platform.
Previously at Google, he was one of the lead PMs on Google Maps for mobile, Google Latitude and Google+ Local.
Before Google, he helped create and launch Defensio.com; a spam and malware filter for social web applications. Defensio was later acquired by Websense (NASDAQ:WBSN).
