Mason Sexton is co-founder of Moonit.com. Prior to launching Moonit, Mason worked as a buy side equity analyst at Tocqueville Asset Management, a $7 billion diversified asset manager that manages both international and domestic mutual funds. As an analyst at Tocqueville, Mason actively participated in all phases of the investment process, including idea generation, target screenings, valuation, due diligence and execution. A generalist, Mason’s coverage area spanned multi-industrials through media opportunities.
Prior to working at Tocqueville, Mason was employed by Harmonic Research, a small boutique investment bank that specialized in early stage investments in the technology and biotech sectors. Mason’s experience includes internships at Youthstream Media Networks, an experiential marketing firm catering to the college market that was subsequently acquired by Alloy Media. An NASD Series 7, 63, and 55 certification holder, Mason graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently obtaining his MBA from Columbia University.
