Masat Izu joined Xunlight Corporation as Senior Vice President, Engineering. He will provide key technical leadership for Xunlight’s commercial expansion of Si thin film PV manufacturing processes and equipment. Over 30 years Masat Izu played key technical and management leadership at Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (ECD) for its commercial expansion from R&D to a leading thin film PV module manufacturing company. He created and led the team that developed lightweight, thin a-Si PV modules and manufacturing technology and equipment as Vice President of ECD, Production Technology and Machine Building Division.
