Mary Ray is CMO and co-founder of MyHeathTeams, a venture-backed San Francisco company incubated while she was Head of Marketing and Product at a CityGrid Media / IAC company, Insider Pages. At MyHealthTeams, she drives the product vision and development, and oversees all marketing and community efforts.
MyHealthTeams develops social / local networks for communities of people living with or caring for those living with chronic health conditions (breast cancer, diabetes and others). On June 15, 20122, the first site launched was www.MyAutismTeam.com. In its first four months, the site gained 1% penetration of its target audience: parents of children with autism (1.5MM parents). Note, 1 in 70 boys in the U.S. are diagnosed with autism.
She was previously co-founder to 4delite, a cloud-based rich media publishing platform for mobile and online advertisers. Prior to that she was VP of Marketing & Product at a Sony Pictures Entertainment company (Crackle, formerly Grouper), where she was responsible for its explosive growth from 4MM uniques/month to 12MM in 2008. Her deep domain expertise in marketing and product management and proven track record has provided her the opportunity to work with a variety of venture-backed tech start-ups and consumer-focused companies since the late ’90s.
