Martin is Founder and CEO of Tictrac, a personal analytics platform that combines different types of data to let users discover how different aspects of their lives affect each other. Both Martin and Tictrac have recently been featured in Wired, Contagious and Wallpaper Magazines.
Prior to launching Tictrac, Martin was Partner at Essence, a leading Digital agency working with clients like Google, eBay and Expedia. He has been regularly published and quoted in digital industry trade publications.
Prior to Essence, Martin was a Founding Partner of Bloom Consulting, a strategy and innovations consultancy, where he developed major brand and product innovation initiatives for clients across Europe. Martin has directly advised Prime Ministers and other government officials on innovations strategy, and worked to help expand product categories for companies including Telefonica, Diageo and Coca-Cola.
Prior to Bloom, Martin successfully launched ‘tuhipoteca.com’, one of the first online financial services sites in Europe. He was part of the founding team, and led Corporate Development, expanding revenue streams and positioning the company for its eventual sale to a pan-European competitor. In 2005, Martin was honoured among the 100 most innovative people in Spain by Emprendedores Magazine.
