Marten Mickos is the CEO of Eucalyptus (http://eucalyptus.com), a cloud computing software company backed by Benchmark Capital and BV Capital. (http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/03/19/former-mysql-chief-lands-at-eucalyptus/)

Mickos is the former CEO of MySQL, before Sun Microsystems acquired MySQL in January 2008 for $1 billion.

He joined Benchmark Capital as an Entrepreneur-in Residence in September of 2009.
