As CTO, Mark provides the technical and visionary leadership to Ampush Engineering team, and drives the technical architecture, design, and implementation of all products. Mark is a seasoned and results driven technology executive, and brings over 20 years of experience building software solutions to Ampush. Most recently, Mark was the Senior Vice President of Engineering & Operations at MyBuys, a ‘big data’ company recognized as the Top Personalization Vendor 2010-2012 that provides a patented behavioral targeting software service that captures consumers’ shopping intent, and then uses its recommendation engine to serve consumers personalized product recommendations in Display Ads, Email, and on-site Web Recommendations.
Prior to MyBuys, Mark was VP Engineering at NorthStar Systems where he was part of the founding team responsible for the first several versions of the company’s leading Wealth and Asset Management solutions. Prior to NorthStar, Mark managed the B2B Channels team at Extricity (acquired by Peregrine in 2001). Mark also developed several pioneering products at Microsoft including the first four versions of Exchange Server, MAPI protocol, and LAN Manager.
A native of the San Francisco Bay area, Mark enjoys playing soccer, snowboarding and traveling when not hard at work at Ampush. Mark studied Computer Science and holds a B.S. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
