Mark Nickson

Mark Nickson is one of the three founders and COO of Tiipz (simply pronounced “tips”), a market research tool for the social media generation.  Backed by a network of private Angel investors, Tiipz has currently raised over $500k and is helping to redefine the market research industry. The Tiipz platform lets businesses use mobile and social media channels to instantly connect and engage any segment or demographic - and get qualified market research at a fraction of the cost of traditional marketing and polling methods.

Very recently Tiipz attended the GROW 2011 conference in Vancouver where Tiipz was voted as one of the four hottest startups across Canada.

Before starting Tiipz, Mark co-founded Pareto User Experience Group (a full service User Centered Design consultancy) and was responsible for key client accounts and business development, along with being one of the principle User Experience consultants working on custom client solutions.

Mark’s background has not only seen him support online creative solutions for small to medium sized design agencies, but he has also built up a wealth of experience working at large corporate brands such as HSBC, JP MorganChase and Capita; where he’s delivered a number of award winning web and mobile solutions.

Mark is at the core of Tiipz product design strategy, as well as constantly exploring new and innovative ways to further grow the company as a business.
