Update

Mark Morel has a successful track record of starting, growing, and selling companies, with global experience developing and implementing strategic vision, creating and driving customer centered cultures, and attracting and managing great teams.

He is currently Chairman and CEO of Emergency Visions (EVI), a provider of a cloud-based emergency management and response logistics solution.

He previously co-founded and served as the Chairman and CEO of Whoop, Inc., a SaaS-based mobile platform company.

Prior to Whoop, he co-founded, was a director, and served as the President and CEO of Procuri, Inc., the leading provider of SaaS-based supply management software and services, acquired by Ariba in 2007.

Other prior posts included co-founder, director, and CAO of Just Care, Inc. (sold to The GEO Group); co-founder, director, and President of Multi-Media Data Systems, Inc. (MDS), a healthcare management software company sold to the Potomac Group; and President of Meridian VAT Reclaim, Inc., sold to PRG Schultz.

Earlier, Mr. Morel held several senior-level investment banking positions, beginning his career in the investment banking group of Shearson American Express. He has served on the boards of numerous private and non-profit companies, and has been a frequent guest speaker on management and entrepreneurship topics. He has received several awards including: "Technology Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 – Spirit of Endeavor Award" for Tech America of the Southeast; Atlanta Telecom Professional of the Year Industry Finalist in 2009; and was named one of the members of the "Catalyst Top 50 Entrepreneurs" list for 2005 and 2006. He holds a degree in Economics from Tulane University.
