Mark Hall is the CEO and founder of Remixation, Inc, which makes the popular video aggregation site Vodpod.com and the video publishing service VodSpot.tv. Hall founded Remixation in June 2006 with Scott Persinger and Spencer Miles.
Prior to founding Remixation, Hall was an executive at RealNetworks from 1997-2004. He led RealNetworks efforts to build the first audio and video guide for the Web (RealGuide) and started Real’s media subscription business with James Higa in the summer of 2000. Hall led growth of those services from 0 subscribers to over 1,000,000 and forged partnerships with CNN, BBC, UEFA, CBS, Channel4 and Wimbledon among others.
From 2002-2005, Hall ran Real’s International business along with Joanna Shields (who later became president of Bebo) from London.
Hall started his digital media career in the early 1990s working on CD-ROM products at Microsoft, and later Corbis.
