Mr. Mark Foley has over 28 years of experience as an entrepreneur and high tech executive. Most recently Mr. Foley was the CEO of Nutune, a JV between NXP and Technicolor that designed, manufactured and sold tuner modules for TVs and set-top boxes. Prior to Nutune Mr. Foley’s career was spent in the communications semiconductor industry where he was most recently the President and Chief Operating Officer for Entropic Communications, a fabless semiconductor company that offers home networking chips based on the MoCA standard. Mr. Foley came to Entropic when a company he co-founded, RF Magic, merged with Entropic Communications and subsequently completed a successful IPO. As the CEO and President of RF Magic he raised three rounds of Venture and Strategic financing and built a successful company around the vision of enabling the consumer electronics industry with highly integrated Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits. RF Magic is credited with bringing innovative “world’s first†products to market and delivering them in high volume.
Prior to starting RF Magic Mr. Foley held various marketing management and technical management positions at Conexant and ComStream where he led the specification and development of numerous baseband and RF products for the Satellite and Cable industries. Early in his career Mr. Foley held design engineering and field sales positions at Adams Russell Electronics and Ford Aerospace.
