Maria Sipka, CEO and Co-Founder of Linqia is an online community specialist. As co-founder of Linqia, Maria’s vision is to index all communities and groups existing on the internet. With experience across marketing, business development and community building, Maria aims to establish Linqia as the primary place to search, find and join online communities and groups on the internet.
Prior to co-founding Linqia, Maria spent 10 years in formulating customer acquisition and retention programs in Australia. Over the past 3 years she has focused on building online communities as the COO and then Director of Community Development at XING.
Maria’s social vision is to connect the developing world to the developed world through online communities and groups. She aims to leverage direct relationships established over the next three years with thousands of community and group leaders match making them to leaders in developing countries adopting social networks as a means to connect to other people, knowledge and opportunities.
