I am currently an associate creative director of writing at Apple. I am also a contributor at The Huffington Post, and have written for Real Simple, New York magazine, and other pubs, and written for brands such as Mulberry. I am the co-founder and former executive editor of award-winning UrbanDaddy. There I shaped the voice that won the 2011 Webby Award Official Honoree for Best Copy/Writing.
I’ve been featured as an expert in various media outlets from ABC News to the Washington Post to the BBC. I am also working on a novel (with a great mentor), a bit of which can be found here.
I have a BA in English from Swarthmore College, a JD in intellectual property law from Berkeley Law School, and attended the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. I am also a single mom and aside from my little monchichi, I enjoy eggs, sleep, trying to dance ballet, the enneagram, and geeky things like ancient Greek. I have worked as a buyer for Barneys New York and still appreciate a good Goyard.
I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, grew up in North Jersey, lived in San Francisco, and studied in Paris. I recently moved from Manhattan to Northern California, where I live with my son in a little house with pear, lime and pomegranate trees.
