Marcus is a founding partner of Broadplay, responsible for maintaining client relationships and providing strategic marketing and sales expertise. He has over 15 years of experience in increasingly senior roles in a variety of industries including wireless, consumer-packaged goods, computer hardware and computer software.
Prior to launching Broadplay, Marcus was VP Sales and Marketing with SiMPRO PCS, a niche market MVNO service provider within the Canadian PCS sector. He was instrumental in growing all aspects of the business from increased distribution and dealer presence, to creation of both a B2B corporate sales strategy and a B2C campaign to drive sales through pricing and promotional management. His intricate knowledge of successful marketing programs has been honed in Business Development and Product Management roles at tier-one firms such as Microcell Telecommunications, Colgate-Palmolive, Dell Computer and Lotus Development. Marcus has his MBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.
