Marco founded Qardio in early 2012, as he set out to change healthcare by developing a line of smart and revolutionary wearable medical devices.
Previously, he spent fourteen years in the financial industry in London. He started his professional experience as a technology, media and telecom investment banker at JPMorgan, where he advised the bank’s large clients, originating and executing some of Europe’s greatest corporate transactions. Later, at age 28, he became partner at one of Europe’s most established hedge funds, where he helped managing a multi-billion dollar investment portfolio. He left the hedge fund industry to found Qardio.
Marco graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University.
