Marc Meyer is Managing Director at Persefon Ventures, an early/seed stage investment fund, where he concentrates on consumer internet, collaborative work, and cloud computing ventures. Before joining Persefon, Marc was co-founder and CEO of Activeweave, Inc, which was acquired by BuzzLogic, where he served as Senior VP for Products. Over his twenty year career he has held CEO or CTO positions in start-ups in the areas of security and encryption, financial and trading software, database systems, and software build systems, and was principal architect and a founding member at Tibco, a pioneer and leader in digital trading systems. As a system’s architect, he’s held research positions in labs at Xerox PARC, Interval, DEC Research, and UC Berkeley.
