Since 2011 Marc has been a fellow of the National Science Foundation researching the historical and cultural aspects of computing.
As part of a larger ethnographic project on computer modeling and climate change, Marc conducted research on interactive cartography for Intel Labs in 2010.
From 2006 to 2008 Marc was an intellectual property strategy consultant for Thinkfire Services. Marc holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Columbia University and an MS in Cultural Anthropology from University of California, Irvine where he is also pursuing his PhD.
