Manlio Carrelli is CEO of Unison Technologies, a set of enterprise-grade apps that executives use to lead their team from a smartphone. He also leads KeKu, a telecommunications company whose technology connects 21 million people around the world.
Carrelli was previously CMO of Intermedia, a global leader in cloud services and the world's largest Microsoft Exchange SaaS provider. He sharply accelerated Intermedia's growth rate in its traditional email business, drove expansion into VoIP and other staple cloud communication offerings, and was instrumental in the company's successful 2011 sale.
From 2005 through 2009, Carrelli served as principal of The Carrelli Group where he advised CEOs, CMOs and heads of sales at Fortune 500 firms and a portfolio of venture-backed B2B SaaS and cloud companies. Carrelli previously led marketing for TradeCard (now GT Nexus), a provider of SaaS supply chain services that manages over $100 billion in transaction volume. TradeCard experienced explosive revenue growth during his tenure, including a more than 100 percent year-over-year increase in 2004.
Prior to TradeCard, Carrelli was a marketing director at Managed Objects, where he played a critical role in developing the concepts behind Business Service Management – an enterprise software market that today generates billions of dollars in annual license revenue. Managed Objects was acquired by Novell. Carrelli graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland at College Park.
