Lucas Wynne, an American entrepreneur and entertainer, is the founder and president of Signal North: A web development firm based in North Dakota with ownership of 15+ domains. Wynne has a rich history of involvement in internet startups and as a non-disclosure graphic designer for major US companies.
Wynne currently serves as a social media and marketing consultant for a variety of companies. He is a moderate conservative and often supports both charitable causes and religious causes.
Formerly, Wynne performed music independently before removing virtually all notable presences on popular social networks. As of January 12, 2012 his official page on YouTube has 13,992 video views with no videos currently posted and his MySpace profile has 43,916 views with no content currently added. According to Google’s Keyword Tool he is currently searched for approximately 60 times per month.
In 2005 Wynne attempted to form a one-on-one basketball league in partnership with the American Basketball Association. Wynne later dismantled the league citing a “lack of resources”.
Wynne founded and created GatherSource.com in 2009, a now defunct news aggregation search engine which indexed in excess of 2,000 news stories per day.
Wynne claims to have suggested YouTube create a “channels” menu in an attempt to “blur the lines of convergence” between online streaming video and television two weeks prior to YouTube’s implementation of such features via e-mail. YouTube has never publicly credited Wynne with the idea.
