Lopo is currently the CEO of Wahanda (http://www.wahanda.com), a London based health, beauty and wellness community & marketplace that connects consumers, wellness businesses and professionals through content, ratings & reviews and commerce. Lopo co-founded Wahanda with Salim Mitha in February 2008.
Prior to Wahanda, Lopo was the Managing Director of European Lifestyle for lastminute.com. In this role he was responsible for developing all aspects of the non-travel business across Europe at lastminute.com which included Theatre ticketing, concert ticketing, restaurant bookings, days out, experiences and spas. Lopo joined lastminute.com in January 2004 and when he left to found Wahanda, lifestyle respresented more than 40% of all the sales by volume at the company.
From 1994 to 2004, Lopo was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Fulcrum Analytics (http://www.fulcrumanalytics.com). Fulcrum is today one of the leading database marketing firms in North America but was initially known as Cyber Dialogue and was the world's first online market research firm. Cyber Dialogue is credited with having created the online survey, the online focus group while providing industry leading insight on the internet consumer.
