Lisa Toleno

Lisa Toleno is the Director of Community Investments. Prior to Revolution Community Ventures, Lisa served in the U.S. Navy, flying missions in support of combat operations in Operation Enduring Freedom. She worked in several management positions in her deploying squadron over three years. Her responsibilities included leading a division of 80 personnel who maintained the S-3B’s electronics, weapons, and weapons systems for 8 aircraft and planning the daily flight schedule for over 30 aircrew. Her active duty service concluded with a two year tour as the Admiral’s Aide to the Commander Navy Region Southeast, who was responsible for all Navy Shore Installation Management in the Southeastern U.S. and the Caribbean, including Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico. Lisa received her MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, where she received a Hagopian Fellowship and represented UCLA on the 2005 NAIOP real estate development challenge against USC. She also consulted to several entrepreneurs through the Price Center for Entrepreneurship’s Management Development for Entrepreneurs program as a teaching fellow under Senior Associate Dean Al Osborne. Lisa earned a B.A. with honors from Harvard University.
