She is a Professional Makeup Artist with over 20 years of experience working with makeup and skincare and has held every beauty position from sales girl to counter manager and beyond. Lianne started TheMakeupGirl in April of 2006 and it has become one of the fastest growing resources for beauty advice and product reviews on the net. A self confessed “product junkie”, Lianne has used social media sites like Twitter and Facebook to grow her site to an average of 75,000 unique readers monthly. It has been featured in About.com listing of the best beauty blogs, and on GlamourMag.com. Recently, Lianne was honored by Natural Nail Polish company Zoya with a shade in her name. Currently, Lianne is also on the Advisory Board for BeautyFix.
