Leonard Chung

Leonard Chung is President and CEO of Syncplicity, an online data management provider. Leonard has been working in the technology industry for over sixteen years with a particular emphasis on successfully developing and delivering version one products and ideas. He has a broad set of skills and experiences including program management, user community management, consulting, software development and testing.

Previously, Leonard was a Program Manager at Microsoft and one of twenty hires selected for the company’s high potential training and development program. He has been working in the area of data management and internet scale applications for over eight years. Notable past projects include SETI@home, Windows PowerShell, and internet storage company Scale Eight. Notable past collaborators include RISC/RAID inventor David Patterson and ACM Turing Award Winner Jim Gray.

Leonard received a B.A. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
