Laurent Le Pen is a significant figure in the Mobile Phone Design industry in Shenzhen as the co-founder of the #1 Telecom Networking Event in China â€“ International Mobile Phone Congress â€“ IMPC. Prior to joining Sonim as VP of Strategic Alliances Laurent Le Pen spent five years in leading China based Original Design Manufacturers such as Cellon, Avantech and Umeox. At Umeox Mobile, Laurent Le Pen worked as part of the board of directors on building strategic partnerships with brands, distributors and mobile network operators on a worldwide basis. During his Cellon and Avantech days he worked on strategic sourcing and ODM selection for the accounts of Philips Mobile China, Fly Russia & India and ModeLabs France (TAG Heuer Meridiist / Dior Phone projects).
Laurent holds a Business Administration degree from IUT Quimper - France, a Bachelor in International Purchasing Management from Avans Hogeschool - The Netherlands and a Master degree in Supply Chain Management from ISAAP - France.
