Lance Johnson

Lance focuses on mobile M&A and portfolio company operations at MIH. MIH is the electronic media arm of Naspers and controls its pay-TV, Internet and related technology activities. The most significant operations are located in Africa, China, Russia, Eastern Europe, the Netherlands, India, Brazil and Thailand. Most of MIH’s portfolio businesses hold leading market positions including Tencent in China and DST’s businesses in Russia.

Prior to joining MIH, Lance was responsible for the monetization of Nokia’s services worldwide as VP, Sales & Marketing, at Nokia Interactive/Navteq Media Solutions based in New York City. Lance started his career at Yahoo!, where he held a variety of senior roles in London and Munich. He holds an honors degree in economics and was a Fulbright Scholar in Germany.
