Konstantinos Alataris is the President and CEO of the Nevro Corp. Prior to founding Nevro, Dr. Alataris was a venture capitalist with Bay City Capital in San Francisco, focusing on investment and strategic advisory services. He was previously a Business Development Manager with Compass, Guidant’s Corporate Venturing Group, where he analyzed and structured medical device/healthcare investments and evaluated acquisition targets. He was also a Research Fellow at the House Ear Institute, a research center and clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. Alataris holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, an MBA, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece.
