Kevin Prentiss is the founder and CEO of Red Rover. He is a former co-founder of Userplane, where he helped lead the transition from a service focus to a product focus, developing and executing the initial go to market strategy and SaaS business model.
After Userplane, Prentiss founded Swift Kick with Tom Krieglstein. Swift Kick is a training and consulting company focused on helping colleges, corporations and government make use of social technologies to increase engagement and productivity within their communities. Prentiss provided keynotes and trainings to over 250 organizations, including Fortune 100 companies like Coca-Cola, government agencies like the US Army and Navy, and higher education institutions in 42 states. At Swift Kick, Prentiss was named Campus Speaker of the Year three years in a row.
Prentiss started his first business with Michael Jones during his sophomore year in college. The two were joined by a third partner, and this company became PBJ Digital, a 40 person firm that served an estimated 200 companies, including large media and fashion brands like Sony and Juicy Couture. After selling PBJ Digital, Prentiss co-founded Userplane.
