Kevin Pomplun is the CEO of SkyGrid, the company he founded in 2005. SkyGrid is a real-time information platform that connects people with the things they are passionate about. Kevin’s leadership has resulted in SkyGrid being recognized as an award-winning information platform that has been featured by Apple, Google, and is used around the world.
Kevin’s interest in having a simple way for people to connect people to the things they’re passionate about, led him to build the initial architecture, algorithms, and codebase for the SkyGrid platform. Today he continues to apply his passion for SkyGrid through his focus on partnerships, platform, and growth.
He has received awards such as the Adobe Customer Showcase, a World Technology Award nomination, and been named a Bloomberg BusinessWeek Best Young Tech Entrepreneur. He has spoken at O’Reilly conferences, the WPP 2010 Stream Conference, and most recently Prince Albert II of Monaco’s Monaco Media Forum. He is also the inventor listed on the patent for Information Velocity.
Kevin grew up in San Diego and enjoys reading, running, and hiking.
