Kevin is an angel investor, wireless/technology consultant, an active/participative board member and community volunteer who has broad experience in senior leadership roles encompassing sales, marketing, business development, finance, operations, engineering, customer operations, human resources, etc.
For the past 24 years, Kevin has been involved with the telecommunications and technology industry, encompassing wired and wireless networks including cellular, CLEC’s, and Wi-Fi Services. His professional work and investment experience includes working for McCaw Communications (the largest U.S. based cellular provider in the late 1980’s/early 1990’s) and AT&T Wireless Services after their acquisition of McCaw Communications. He has also worked with, invested in or sat on the board of directors for a variety of wireless (Wireless Services Corp., now SinglePoint) and Wired (TexLink, NextLink, XO Communications) Telecommunications companies. Most recently, Kevin was one of the key executives responsible for building and ultimately selling Wayport (the U.S.’s largest Wi-Fi Services provider) to AT&T and worked for AT&T Wi-Fi Services until March of 2010.
Currently, Kevin is a consultant to several wireless based telecommunications services providers as well as Vice President of Sales for an Austin, TX based smartphone payment solutions company, Tabbedout.
