Kevin Hell currently serves as President and CEO of On-Ramp Wireless, a provider of wireless networks that power wide-area, machine-to-machine communication.
Previously, he was chief executive officer of DivX, Inc., providers of technology which enables consumers to enjoy a high-quality video experience across any kind of device.
Before joining DivX, he served as Senior Vice President of Product Management for Palm’s Solutions Group, where he was responsible for Palm branded products and services worldwide. Before Palm, Kevin was Vice President of the Connected Home division and Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Gateway where he defined and led Gateway’s “Beyond-the-Box” initiatives. Mr. Hell currently serves on the board of directors of MicroPower Technologies, Inc.
Kevin began his journey at Stanford University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Aeronautics. After Stanford, Kevin designed communications satellites and interplanetary spacecraft for Hughes Aircraft Company. Kevin then went on to earn an MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and worked for seven years at Boston Consulting Group, focusing on clients in the high-technology, telecommunications and entertainment markets.
