Kevin Goldsmith

Kevin Goldsmith is a Software Architect, Engineering Manager and an industry forerunner in the areas of GPGPU for commercial applications. Kevin was the first hire, and a development lead, in Microsoft’s Virtual Worlds (later Social Computing) group. He was the development lead at BootlegTV (later Bootleg Networks), the startup founded by Robert Fripp (of King Crimson). He then became one of the founders of Agnostic Media. After joining Adobe Systems in 2004, Kevin became the manager of the Adobe Image Foundation, the team which owns the Pixel Bender language and which is pioneering the use of GPUs for general purpose processing across a large spectrum of applications in commercial products.
