Kevin Gillett is currently the VP of engineering of SendMe, a leading mobile entertainment company in San Francisco. Kevin is a world-class developer who brings to SendMe over 15 years of professional Software Engineering experience, over 8 years of technology management experience, and over 5 years of Internet marketing and monetization experience.
Prior to joining SendMe, he led the Tools and Technology team at Ribbit (bought by British Telecom) and was the third-party developer evangelist and ombudsman. At Prosper, Kevin was Director of Marketing Analytics, Lead Engineer of Data API, and Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning Prosper Blog (2007 Corporate Blog of the Year.) As CTO of Panoramic Software, he was responsible for the complete redesign and modernization of the company’s technology, as well as its flagship product, public sector fiduciary accounting, and case manager software for health and human resources. Kevin began his career working at Oracle.
Kevin has a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University. At Princeton, he played basketball for the legendary Pete Carril and was a member of the 1996 team that beat UCLA in the NCAA tournament.
