Kevin is an investor and advisor to start-up consumer and enterprise internet and mobile companies.

Kevin is Currently a Venture Partner at General Catalyst Partners (VC firm) in Boston & Palo Alto doing Seed, Series A, and Series B investing.

Colleran also co-manages a Seed/Angel fund called Slow Ventures along with several other ex-Facebook executives where he makes makes early stage tech investments using personal capital. Investments include Pinterest, Tumblr, Birchbox, Postmates, Nextdoor, Nest, Evernote, Everlane, AngelList, Wealthfront, and 50+ other companies.

Kevin is active on many Advisory Boards (Path, Buddy Media, Datalogix, Humin, Circa, Basis Health Band, Facebook Causes, Backplane, Telly, etc) as well as a member of SocialRadar’s Board of Directors.

In additional to the companies listed above, Colleran is also an Angel Investor in Airtime, Splash Events, Betable, Kaboom Games, Artillery Games, NationBuilder, Basis Technologies, Brit+Co, Zuckerberg Media, etc).

Previously Kevin was one of the first 10 employees at Facebook Inc. having joined in early 2005 as their first advertising sales person. He stayed at Facebook for nearly 7 years on the revenue team leaving in 2012 after having become the longest tenured employee at the company other than Mark Zuckerberg.
