Kevin Bauer is an experienced digital marketing executive. Currently, he is the Director of Digital Commerce for Cabela’s. Here he runs all digital marketing and mobile commerce for The World’s Foremost Outfitter. This includes all SEM, SEO, CSE, Affiliate, Remarketing, Email and social marketing. Playing a key role in the marketing transformation of one of the country’s most respected brands, Kevin is driving the focus of Cabela’s direct business to digital platforms and capabilities.
Kevin started his digital career with Kelkoo in the UK. Upon Yahoo purchasing Kelkoo in 2007, he built Yahoo’s first in-house classified advertising platform and merged both Kelkoo and Yahoo’s technology platforms and business models into one business unit.
After moving back to the US in 2007, Kevin became the VP of Ecommerce and Marketing for Altrec.com. Altrec is an online retailer of premium outdoor goods. Kevin took Altrec from a niche online retailer to an IR top 250 company in 4 years.
Kevin moved to Alchemy Solutions, a B2B software company in the modernization space as VP of Marketing in 2011. Here he reinvented and repositioned the Alchemy brand and was a key leader in the development of several cloud based solutions for the enterprise legacy software market.
Kevin has been a senior executive leading SEO, SEM, Social Media, Mobile marketing, Remarketing, Affiliates, Email, CSEs, Lead generation, marketing automation and cutting edge web design for over 8 years. He also has deep bricks and mortar retail experience during his time at Enterprise Rent-A-Car where he was one of the original employees to launch the company in the UK. He has worked in the US and the UK, running European operations across 9 countries.
