Kerem Baran, co-founder in Boomset, serves as a chief information officer responsible for the processes and practices supporting the flow of information.His software development experience makes him play an active role in development of the architectural and mobile parts of the Boomset. In addition to this, his promoting and event planning experience makes him to play an active role in designing the flow of the system and architecture.
His resume includes major technical experience New York City Department of Education. Before joining Boomset, he was working as a consultant in NYC Dept of Ed. He played an active role on developing the FAMIS portal, which serves as a Purchasing and Financial operations portal for the ordering goods and services for NYC Dept of Ed.
In addition to his technical experience, his resume includes event planning and promoting experience in New York City nightlife. He worked with the top nightclub organizations in New York City such as EMM Group INC (Owners of Tenjune, SL), 13th Street Entertainment (Owners of Kiss ‘n Fly Club, Beaumarchais –formerly Bagatelle-, RdV Club), The Strategic Group (Owners of Avenue, Lavo, Marquee), Jon B Group (Juliet Supper Club and Greenhouse) and many more.
Kerem’s has attended a dual diploma program, which took place in Bogazici –Bosphorus- University and State University of New York, Binghamton. His education in Information Systems Engineering is collaboration between Computer Science and Management information systems.
