KEN RUCK

Ken is an entrepreneur and executive for major media companies. He currently serves as an Advisor to Turner Broadcasting, President of Hemisphere Interactive, and CEO of K8E.TV.

Previously, Ken served as VP of Global Digital Media for HIT Entertainment (Jim Henson,) Sr. Director of Wireless for MTV Kids & Family, Marketing Director for Oberon Media, and General Manager of Digital Content for Virgin Mobile.

Ken was awarded the 2009 Webby Award Honoree in Youth Media, and the 2008 American Library Association Award for Great Websites for Kids.

In 2007, Ken Ruck was appointed as New York State Board Member of the United States Selective Service.

In 2011, Ken set out to build the first fully sustainable home in New York City’s Lower East Side.
