Kelly Smith

Kelly is the founder of Curious Office - a Seattle seed stage incubator and investment firm. He his most recently the founder of Zapd.com (a PressPlane Inc company) which is venture backed by Second Avenue Partners. Zapd was Apple’s App of the Week during March, 2011 and it is a top 10 lifestyle app in several countries. He was the founder of Inkd.com and Imagekind, which is the largest market for buying and selling art (acquired by CafePress in 2007). In 2000 he founded an online video company called RocketVox which was acquired by thePlatform (Comcast). Previously, Kelly served as VP Product Marketing for Myrio (Siemens Nokia IPTV division) and worked at RealNetworks from 1994-1999 in various marketing and business development roles. Curious Office has invested in SEOmoz, Bonanza, Sparkbuy, Imagekind, Wishpot, CoolSpotters, Shelfari (acquired by Amazon) and FeedDigest. He is a board member or advisor for PressPlane, NetConcepts, SEOmoz and Rouxbe.
