Kelly Porter joined Woodside Capital Partners in 2007, where he provides mergers and acquisitions advisory to digital media companies. He has extensive experience in technology finance, and helps great companies position themselves for acquisition or to raise growth capital. Kelly is Founder / Managing Partner of ZAP Ventures, which invested $25 million in 11 companies starting in 2002. Prior to ZAP Ventures, he was Chairman and CEO of CatchTV, an interactive TV software firm where he oversaw acquisition of the firm by Liberty Media/ACTV. He also held positions as Executive Vice President of InterActive Corp/HSN-Home Shopping Network where he worked closely with Barry Diller; Vice President of Fox Television in Los Angeles, where he was one of the founders of the company’s cable television division; Director of Business Development at Seltel, an advertising sales network for TV stations; and Media Planner at Ogilvy Advertising.
