Kathy Sacks has over 15 years of diverse communications experience in marketing, journalism, and public relations. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Coleap, an interprofessional association of exporters, importers, and other stakeholders of the Europe, Africa, Caribbean, and Pacific horticultural trade. She was also a member of the board of directors at Iris.
Prior to joining Iris, Sacks served as a strategic advisor at Find Your Influence and Y Scouts. He was the founder and principal of Sacks PR, a technology PR firm she launched in 2005. He also served as vice president of marketing at iLinc, a web and video conferencing technology company located in Phoenix.
Previously, Sacks led marketing and communications for the Arizona Technology Council, helping launch TechConnect magazine. He also served as co-owner, editor in chief, and brand strategist for bizAZ magazine, a business magazine in Arizona which she sold to Gannett Inc. in 2005.
Sacks holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Arizona State University, W. P. Carey School of Business.
